BetMGM integrates GameSense’s safer gambling program
BetMGM has announced that it will be integrating into GameSense, which is a safer gambling program licenced to MGM Resorts International (who currently owns half of the BetMGM brand).
GameSense is licenced to MGM Resorts, and it aims to unify safer gambling resources into a client service model, as users have the ability to check out a wide variety of tools and different forms of support.
BetMGM is the joint venture between Entain Plc and MGM Resorts, and it now seeks to entirely integrate this service into its platform towards the end of 2021, which will make it the first time an iGaming operator within the United States ever used the program.
Adam Greenblatt, chief executive of BetMGM, remarked:
“As the mobile gaming industry in the US continues to grow, responsible gambling is a key focus for BetMGM and is critically important for the industry as a whole. GameSense presents a forward-thinking approach to responsible gambling. We look forward to empowering our players with a proven program, designed to help support a positive gambling experience.”
Furthermore, MGM Resorts released GameSense in all of its venues within the US back in 2017, which helped customers with accessing these resources at the M life Rewards desks.
Bill Hornbuckle, chief executive president of MGM Resorts, also said:
“GameSense has been an instrumental and innovative part of our company’s guest service model for several years,” MGM Resorts chief executive president Bill Hornbuckle said. “Together, MGM Resorts and BetMGM are proud to help guests understand the risks, where to get help and, ultimately, how to keep gaming fun.”
GameSense will become accessible to all customers in the states in which BetMGM possesses operations. The latter’s integration of the program follows on from Entain’s move to launch a “pioneering” affordability checking model for its UK clients, which is a part of the ARC initiative which is set to be completely carried out this summer.
