Betsson Records its Highest Earning Point So Far
The Swedish multi-product online gaming brand – Betsson, reports its most adventurous number in earnings (EBIT) in the span of a quarter, marking an astonishing ~37m euros.
The recorded profit number that projects the company’s EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes), shows an approximate 39.4% augmentation, in comparison to the first quarter of this year, a 76.8% augmentation in a yearly overlook.
According to the provider, the bettered results are allegedly due to the increased number of betting events these past two years, such as Euro 2020 and Copa America, as well as a heightened general interest towards the industry on an international scale.
The company also highlights the Swedish Regulator’s – Spelinspektionen’s, latest decision not to appeal its report against Betsson, after it was dismissed by the Sweden’s law authorities in June this year.
When it comes to the next quarter of this year, Betsson revealed that it’s possible to witness an approximate ~10% increase in overall revenue, in comparison to the successful first quarter.
Betsson also touched upon some estimations about player numbers, revealing that those have also seen an augmentation of around 25%.
