Betsson has shared its Q2 2026 results, revealing that the gambling operator generated record quarterly revenue with €310.2 million, representing a 2.1% increase, mainly driven by strong Latin American performance and high activity during the World Cup.
At the same time, operating income dropped by 38.9% to €42.2 million, with EBITDA further decreasing to €58.5 million, a 30.5% drop. Net income also declined to €30.4 million, which was a 38.2% drop, while gross profit went from €193.9 million to €177.5 million.
President and CEO of Betsson, Pontus Lindwall, commented:
“The second quarter was characterised by continued healthy growth in our B2C business, positively impacted by the FIFA World Cup that kicked off in June. At the same time, B2B revenue remained at a lower level than the previous year, which weighed on the quarter’s profitability, although the operating margin improved compared with the previous quarter.”
Lindwall additionally explained that the weak profitability was the result of increased exposure to regulated markets with stricter costs for gaming taxes and providers. This was further represented by the fact that regulated markets made up 75.5% of the revenue, compared to 2025’s 65.7%.
Latin America was the strongest market for Q2, where revenue jumped by 32.3%, with Western Europe following in similar steps and reaching a record revenue of €64.2 million.
Although the company didn’t share any full-year guidance, its share price increased by 2% after the earnings call.
