Better Collective acquires Torcedores.com
Better Collective has recently announced its purchase of sports media firm Torcedores.com.
Torcedores.com is a leading sports media firm in the Brazilian market that has become the go-to media site for its audience of more than 12 million active monthly sports fans. The company has an extensive presence in the market through its website, which is complemented by its sizable reach on various social media platforms.
The CEO of Better Collective’s South American operations, Simon Hovmand-Stilling remarked:
“We are delighted to be adding Torcedores.com to our portfolio of brands as our first Brazilian subsidiary. The firm will be a perfect match for our position in the Brazilian market, helping us continue growing in the country and offering enhanced services to our partners and readers.”
This acquisition is part of the media firm’s Brazilian growth strategy, giving it access to new offices in Sao Paolo, where Torcedores.com is headquartered. This new office will soon be joined by Better Collective’s upcoming property in Rio de Janeiro, which is scheduled to be opened sometime this month. Moreover, this purchase is also the latest of its kind in Better Collective’s worldwide expansion strategy, following the company’s recent acquisition of four of Everysport Group’s brands in mid-August.
