Bruno Mars addresses $50M gambling debt rumors during show
Bruno Mars addressed the ongoing rumors of him having a $50 million gambling debt to MGM during the opening show of his The Romantic Tour in Las Vegas on April 10, 2026.
The rumors had been circulating after Bruno Mars joked about the $50 million MGM debt following his appearance at a Blackpink concert in July 2025, writing “Almost out of debt” under an Instagram post.
Just days ago, when Mars’ Silk Sonic bandmate Anderson .Paak joined him on stage during the concert, he made a comment about his own gambling debt.
.Paak said:
“I hate to make this about me, but when I think about how much debt, I mean how many steps it took to get here, I get emotional.”
Mars answered:
“Andy, I’m sorry you’re going through all that. See, I’m debt-free. I paid the casino off a long time ago.”
It’s still unclear whether the debt connected to MGM was real or not, as the company had previously rejected the claims, stating that such speculation is fully false and that Bruno Mars has no debt with MGM.
The latest Las Vegas show was the first time that the artist publicly commented on the gambling rumors in front of an audience.
