Caesars Entertainment and Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) have announced an alliance to open many in-person sportsbooks throughout their gambling spots in New Mexico.

The new Caesars Sportsbook locations are open for business at Dancing Eagle Casino, which is east of Grants, and Route 66 Casino Hotel and Casino Xpress, which is west of Albuquerque.

Maxine Velasquez, President and CEO of LDC expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating:

“We are excited to partner with one of the world’s leading gaming companies to provide New Mexico sports fans a world-class wagering experience that connects our guests with sporting events around the country and the world.”

Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, shared this sentiment:

“LDC shares our passion for treating guests like royalty. We believe that bringing our first-class Caesars Sportsbook locations and sports betting kiosks to their historic properties will provide an elevated and rewarding sports wagering experience built for the modern sports fan 21 and older in New Mexico.”

With the addition of sports betting to its premises in 2019, Route 66 Casino Hotel experienced a rise in traffic from sports bettors at its sportsbook, The Book. Adrian Fox, General Manager of Route 66 Casino Hotel, emphasized the casino’s ongoing enhancements, stating:

“As we continue to make improvements and upgrades throughout our casino and restaurants this year, we are also providing our guests with new special amenities, including access to one of the country’s leading sports betting brands. Wagering options on the Caesars Sportsbook platform are nearly unlimited in scope, encompassing sports from around the world.”

Dancing Eagle Casino, in its turn, already has 400 of the newest and most well-liked slot machines in addition to bingo. It is anticipated that including sports betting will increase the casino’s appeal to both current and potential players.
