Caesars introduces Horseshoe online casino in Michigan

Caesars Entertainment has launched its Horseshoe online casino in Michigan after WynnBet‘s exit from the state.

Earlier this year, in February, Caesars secured a partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and finalized the deal in June. This move follows WynnBET’s decision to exit from several states, marking the end of its operations in Michigan.

Since then, Caesars has been working to launch its online casino in Michigan. As the company reaches the maximum number of online casinos permitted by law, this transition strengthens its footprint in the local iGaming market.

Eric Heisson, President of Caesars Sports Online Gaming, has expressed confidence that the Horseshoe brand will quickly gain popularity in Michigan and will compete with the well-established Caesars Casino.

Currently, Caesars Palace MI Online Casino generates about $11.4 million monthly. Horseshoe Casino’s future remains uncertain, yet it has high hopes to succeed.

Caesars launched its Horseshoe casino in Las Vegas in early 2022. Later, in October 2022, Caesars reopened its Lousiana casino under its Horseshoe brand. After over two years of being non-operational, Caesar’s establishment in Lake Charles, Louisiana, welcomed its guests again. Having originally been shut down because of the pandemic and Hurricane Laura, the casino and hotel had undergone extensive renovations, including a name change from its former Isle of Capri brand.
