California’s Hard Rock Casino Tejon to open on November 13
The Tejon Indian Tribe and Hard Rock International announced that the much-anticipated Hard Rock Casino Tejon will open on November 13, 2025.
The Tejon Indian Tribe and Hard Rock International officially opened Hard Rock Tejon Casino on November 13, 2025. The casino is an economic milestone for the Tejon Indian Tribe and Kern County’s first. The tribe acquired the project from Hard Rock International, which developed and privately financed it.
The casino will cater to both Southern California and Central Valley customers, as the second-closest full resort casino to Los Angeles. The project has created thousands of construction jobs already and will create 1,000 permanent jobs at opening. In addition to that, it will also generate revenue for infrastructure development and financing of local education and community development without passing that expense to the taxpayer.
Tejon Chairman Octavio Escobedo III said:
“The opening of Hard Rock Casino Tejon is not only a celebration of our tribe’s heritage and resilience, but also a bold step forward in creating opportunity and prosperity for future generations.”
Upon completion, the 150,000-square-foot casino will feature 50 table games, 2,000 slots, VIP suites, and memorabilia from Hard Rock’s most iconic hits. Unity by Hard Rock, a worldwide loyalty program with rewards at all Hard Rock locations, is also accessible to the public.
