DraftKings and Delta Airlines have announced the launch of their newest partnership through a free-to-play in-flight sports contest called SkyPicks, which will offer users a chance to engage with multiple sports categories.
According to the airline, the game will be accessible for travellers over 21, allowing them to win Delta gift cards by interacting with football, basketball, and baseball matches. Customers will have to enter the game through personal laptops or mobile devices while connected to Delta’s in-flight Wi-Fi, as the game won’t be offered on seatback screens. However, the game will not include deposit functions, buy-in, or betting.
Chief commercial officer at DraftKings, Jeremy Elbaum, commented:
“At DraftKings, we believe interaction with sports shouldn’t begin and end with the game itself – it should extend to every moment fans care about. As we continue elevating the DraftKings Sports experience, we’re also exploring new ways to bring fans closer to the action beyond the traditional settings. Collaborating with Delta gives us the opportunity to reimagine what sports engagement can look like while travelling, bringing innovative ways for fans to stay connected to the games they love – even when they’re in the air.”
SkyPicks officially launched within the Delta Sync Wi-Fi on July 29, 2026, with the game including Major League Baseball contests. The company shared that NFL matchups will also be added by the end of 2026.
