DraftKings announces release of its first NFT

American daily fantasy sports contest and sports betting operator – DraftKings, announced about its newest release – DraftKings Marketplace, which will be live this week.

The US-focused sports betting operator – DraftKings, announced the release of its first ever NFT (non-fungible token – a unit of data stored on a blockchain), which they called DraftKings Marketplace.

The initial selection dropped today – August 11th, together with Autograph, which featured autographed passes from world-class names in sports such as Naomi Osaka, Tony Hawk, To Brady, and others.

The main name for the launch is going to be Tom Brady.

DraftKings’ CEO – Matt Kalish, commented:

“We are honored and so proud to present our first ever NFT release, and we could not possibly have chosen a more perfect match for the position of the headlight athlete than Tom Brady – the legendary American football quarterback.

We were excited to join the trendline of NFT’s with DraftKings Marketplace, and we’re confident that it’s going to be quite successful within this space.

I seriously can’t wait to see how the sports fans interact with DraftKings Marketplace and Autograph, as we put so much love and effort into creating this as a means to group iconic entertainment and sports moments together.

This is just the beginning!”
