One of Betsson Group’s subsidiaries – SW Nordic, has secured a 25-million-dollar deal in acquiring a LatAm-focused casino & sportsbook operator – Inkabet.

Through this recent buyout, Betsson intends to further extend and reaffirm its presence in the regulated South American iGaming market, which is a strategic one for the group.

The formal deal saw Inkabet’s assets evaluated a 25 million American dollars.

Moreover, Betsson Group will be required to pay up to 4 initial millions, which will depend on how Inkabet performs to reach EBIT targets and the mutually agreed revenue point, within the course of the next 6 months, as well as 5 million in 2 parts, which wilb have to be paid on fix dates at the end of 2022 and 2023.

Betsson’s Chief Executive Officer – Pontus Lindwall, commented on the buyout:

“Via this deal, we carry on further building our market presence within the borders of Latin America, following the trend of most recent purchases such as Colbet and JDP Tech.

The Latin American iGaming market is a crucial one in our expansion strategy, and we are delighted to have secured this key acquisition.”

Inkabet, founded in 2012, which operates mainly focusing on the western side of the LatAm region, is yet another milestone partnership for Betsson after the group’s efforts in other regulated markets, such as Betsson’s African entrance Partnership with Fast Track CRM earlier in June.
