DraftKings launches horse racing-focused app in the US

DraftKings has recently launched the DK Horse application in 12 states in America.

Having already launched in a dozen jurisdictions across the United States, the company is expected to further grow the app’s reach by the upcoming Kentucky Derby on the 6th of May, which is one of the country’s most prominent thoroughbred racing events.

The operator’s players will be given the opportunity to place bets on some of the United States’ most famous horse racing events, including a number of renowned races held at the Churchill Downs racecourse in Kentucky. Additionally, the application is also going to feature a wagering guide for the players, helping them stay informed on the most important upcoming events and betting opportunities.

This launch follows DraftKings’ partnership with Churchill Downs back in November of 2022, through which one of the latter’s subsidiaries helped the bookmaker set up the wagering foundations for the newly launched application.

“Through the launch of our newest mobile application, we will deliver a unique and innovative experience for horse racing fans in collaboration with Churchill Downs. As it is our aim to offer industry-leading experiences for our bettors, we have made sure that DK Horse will provide an engaging and novel way for players to enjoy various thoroughbred racing events from all over the United States.”

remarked the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DraftKings, Jason Robins.
