A long-term contract has been signed between The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the two gaming companies – DraftKings and FanDuel. This further deepens the businesses’ and league’s connections, making the two operators official NBA betting partners.

Because the firms will have access to enhanced marketing, content, and digitals, users will be able to see NBA resources incorporated into the two companies’ sports betting, online casino, and daily fantasy sports channels.

NBABet Stream, the NBA’s betting-focused product available through NBA League Pass and the NBA Tv app, will now have DraftKings as its sole presenting sponsor. DraftKings also has NBA contracts with the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and Philadelphia 76ers.

Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings’ chief business officer, commented:

“Despite the fact that the NBA season has only just begun, we have so far witnessed an intense effect of the sport within our existing clients, featuring strong re-engagement as well as robust new gambling interest throughout our states.”

FanDuel also partnered with the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), which will allow it to utilize player photographs in programming and highlights. With a partnership inked with Turner Sports in 2020, FanDuel is already the official sportsbook partner of NBA programming. The Memphis Grizzlies and the Detroit Pistons have also struck alliances with the firm.

Amy Howe, president, and CEO at Fanduel mentioned how the cooperation with NBA has helped the company’s growth. She added:

“We have redefined what is achievable in a collaboration between a major sports league and a sports betting provider. We are delighted to rethink ways we connect basketball enthusiasts as we enter the next stage of our cooperation with the NBPA.”
