FanDuel becomes Formula 1’s official betting partner
Formula 1 announced on April 30 that FanDuel will become its first U.S.-based official betting partner, integrating the operator’s content into the race’s digital platforms.
FanDuel’s real-time betting odds will be added to Formula 1’s mobile app and official websites, while the content will be included in F1’s age-restricted Betting Guide and editorial materials. There are additional plans to introduce more formats in the upcoming season.
Karol Corcoran, managing director of FanDuel Sportsbook, commented:
“Being named an Official Betting Operator of Formula 1 marks an exciting step forward as we enhance our sportsbook product to deliver more interactive experiences for fans. Formula 1 generates an incredible amount of real-time data, and our platform is built to turn that into engaging betting opportunities for fans. This partnership will allow us to deliver even more immersive, data-driven experiences throughout the race weekend.”
The deal aligns with Formula 1’s strategy of expanding its viewing, as it will get access to FanDuel’s 17 million users in the U.S. and Canada.
