Game Developer Awards winners have been announced
The winners of the recent edition of the Game Developer Awards ceremony have been announced.
Held on the final day of the recently concluded CasinoBeats Summit event, the awards ceremony brought a successful conference to a close by celebrating several of the iGaming sector’s top companies and professionals.
A total of nearly two dozen awards were given out as part of six main categories throughout the ceremony by its two esteemed hosts, Trudy Kerr and Gilberto Silva.
Relax Gaming maintained its excellent award streak by taking home the best slot and one of SlotCatalog’s studio of the year rewards. Another firm that received two awards was BGaming, which got the slot to watch and the best soundtrack rewards at the ceremony, while NetEnt and Barbara Bang were some of the other developers that were awarded in the game performance section.
As part of the game creation category, Wazdan received an award for the best game feature, and Playtech took home the best licensed content award. At the same time, ELK Studios and Amusnet were rewarded for having the best game design and the best retro-styled title respectively.
Some of the professionals that were celebrated during the ceremony included AvatarUX’s Hannah Farrugia, who received the product manager award while the company received the best game mechanic award, and Brian Christopher, who was named the streamer of the year and also received the best slot collaboration award with the developer Gaming Arts.
