SBC publishes Game Developer Awards shortlist

SBC has recently published the shortlist of nominees for the upcoming CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards.

On the last day of the upcoming CasinBeats Summit 2023 conference, the show’s Game Developer Awards will be held, celebrating some iGaming’s best software providers and development studios.

The event’s organizer, SBC, has recently published the shortlist of nominated firms and professionals for the awards ceremony. Spread across 6 major sections, 23 total categories, and three different levels ranging from gold to bronze, the event will give out nearly 70 rewards.

Numerous companies were able to get nominated for multiple categories at the event, with Relax Gaming being the leader in this regard with its 10 nominations. Many other firms, such as ELK Studios and Light & Wonder, had 6 and 5 nominations respectively.

Taking a look at the categories under the “Game Performance” section of the ceremony, one of its most esteemed awards is going to be the “Slot Game of the Year” title. It features 10 offerings from 8 developers, with Relax Gaming and Pragmatic Play each receiving two spots in its nominations shortlist.

The “Legacy Game of the Year” award is going to be quite prominent as well, as it will be celebrating more established and popular games developed by similarly well-known studios. The ceremony will also be rewarding some of the year’s best slot creation partnerships with its “slot collaboration of 2023” category, while the “Best Studio Debut Title” will be celebrating upstart developers and their games.

The event’s game development section will feature titles with excellent gameplay mechanics, features, art styles, and audio. It will also award the year’s best games that contain licensed elements with the “Game Licensed Content” category.

Lastly, the ceremony will be spotlighting innovative games, the best game creation professionals, and even some of the best streamers of the year who help promote the industry and the pastime to their viewers. The complete list of nominees is available here.

All of the winners and finalists at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards will be decided on by a panel of highly experienced judges, who will be putting their extensive knowledge to use to make fair decisions.
