Gentoo Media (formerly GiG Media) officially announced its name change from Gaming Innovation Group Inc. to Gentoo Media Inc.
Gentoo Media is a market-leading affiliate connecting operators and players in the online gambling and sports betting industry. Gentoo Media offers a wide range of iGaming affiliate solutions, including paid marketing expertise and quality traffic through its prominent industry sites.
After approval in a shareholder meeting on September 23, 2024, Gentoo Media officially announced the name change from Gaming Innovation Group Inc. to Gentoo Media Inc.
The name change is a key step forward in the company’s restructuring process, during which its media and platform divisions will be separated. The legal split is set to take place today, on September 30, when the platform and sportsbook division, operating under the new name GiG Software PLC, will become an independently listed company.
Gentoo Media Inc. continues to be dual-listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol G2MNO and on Nasdaq Stockholm with the ticker G2M.
GiG Software PLC is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market on October 1, 2024.
