Gil Rotem has been named President of  International Game Technology’s (IGT) iGaming division.

Rotem will be dominating IGT Play Casino’s continuous expansion and global expansion. His primary role will be to oversee the company’s iGaming, bingo, and poker operations through the IGT PlayCasino segment.

Prior to this position, Rotem had several opportunities to demonstrate his abilities. Between 2013 and 2017, he was in charge of strategic board-level planning and operations at 888.com and bet365 and delivered rapid growth and product optimization improvements in technology and gaming roles. He was in charge of developing and providing unique titles for the company’s proprietary gaming and jackpot platform.

Enrico Drago, CEO of IGT Digital and Betting, spoke about how the firm is rapidly developing and supplying some of the gaming industry’s most well-known games. He went on:

“We anticipate IGT PlayCasino to keep expanding in the double digits, and Gil Rotem’s ideas and expertise can assist us in maintaining well-positioned for continuing leadership in iGaming, poker, and bingo.”

With the hire of Joe Asher as President of its Digital & Betting sports wagering section last month, Rotem is the firm’s second prominent leader, reporting directly to Enrico Drago.

Rotem described the role as a fantastic and exciting chance to represent the gaming industry’s most impressive portfolio of iGaming. He went on:
