International Game Technology announces a new initiative — Positive Play, within the framework of its support to Problem Gambling Awareness Month.

The campaign is to be carried out through social media. What’s more, IGT aims to contribute to ICRG.

The National Council on Problem Gambling initiates PGAM in March every year in order to educate people on problem gambling and the risks.

IGT SVP of Marketing, Communications and Sustainability, Wendy Montgomery, noted:

“Responsible wagering has been considered to be the focal point for our company. We are happy to kick-start this campaign and give our contribution to the reputable responsible gambling companies. Due to such initiatives like PGAM we are able to express our perspective and increase public awareness”.

Within the framework of this campaign, IGT will post videos on social media platforms, where its staff speaks about the consequences and changes that responsible gaming has made in their life.

IGT’s contribution to ICRG aims to support its research on responsible gambling which it initiated for over 25 years.
