Golden Race reinforces virtual football offering with Euro Cup
Golden Race launched its latest tournament called the Euro Cup. This new tournament will be reinforcing its football offering and was inspired by the European Championship. It is now available to all Golden Race customers in Africa and Europe.
The competition is divided into two parts and is available either scheduled or on demand. The first phase is a group stage, and the second is a knockout stage. In the first phase, all teams play one game against the rest of the teams in the same group. Each win gives three points, a draw gives one point and the loser gets nothing.
Every group’s top two teams are the ones who will qualify, and the top four third-placed teams also pass. Golden Race stated that the rankings of the teams are based on how many points they acquired during the group phases. The second stage is made up of one game during every one of the four stages, with the qualify market attached in order to push more engagement for bettors.
The provider also did not forget to mention that the new product will be available for online and retail, and said it has been ‘optimised for mobile and desktop devices so that players can access it and enjoy it easily and smoothly’.
Back in January, Golden Race was approved by the Gaming Laboratories International Africa (GLI) and obtained the certification to become a wagering B2B provider in South Africa.
