Habanero acquires Romanian licence

Habanero, the premium slots and table games provider, has been given an online licence that will allow it to provide Romanian-based operators with its vast selection of content.

Thanks to its certification by the Romanian gambling regulator (ONJN), the studio can now strengthen its commercial position within the country, in which online gambling has been regulated since 2016.

Habanero’s highly-praised portfolio includes more than 69 newly-licenced games with many player favourites such as Wizards Want War!, Egyptian Dreams Deluxe, Happiest Christmas Tree and 5 Lucky Lions.

This most recent accreditation comes right after its latest acquisition of an MGA licence, which now allows the studio to obtain new partnerships, aside from the ones that have already been signed.

Arcangelo Lonoce, European head of business development at Habanero, shared his thoughts on the news by stating:

We are thrilled that the team’s consistent diligence has been recognised by the regulatory body in Romania, a market which we believe to be one of the most interesting and dynamic in Europe. The news will help us further extend our ever-growing customer reach within the region, following on from a series of high-profile commercial agreements with a succession of Southern Europe’s foremost operators.

Habanero is looking to have an amazing 2021 by quickly expanding all over Europe and South America by developing some of the best and most innovative content.
