Hard Rock confirms opening date for Rockford casino
The August 29 opening of the Rockford casino in Illinois, US, has been confirmed by Hard Rock International. Doors will be open around 3 p.m.
It will contain over 175,000 square feet of gaming, entertainment, and hospitality area. Nearly 1,300 slot machines and 50 live table games, including a poker room, will be available at the casino. Bettors will also have access to six restaurants, a Rock Shop with Hard Rock merch, and a sportsbook.
Chief Operating Officer Jon Lucas said:
“The economic impact of this casino will provide hundreds of new jobs and boost the entertainment options for anyone living near or visiting Rockford. We are thrilled to welcome this new property to our global portfolio of over 300 Hard Rock venues.”
According to Hard Rock, in order to support the new casino, it intends to hire more than four hundred additional employees. In other words, Hard Rock has maintained that there has been “no delay” in its intentions to establish a long-term establishment in the Bristol Casino in Virginia, US. Instead of launching major amenities as they are completed, the business said that it will hold a “Grand Opening” event that will feature every aspect of the project, including Hard Rock Live, a wide range of unique dining options, and their iconic Hard Rock Hotel, all at once.
Hard Rock said:
“We understand the significance of first impressions and are committed to making a spectacular entrance into the Bristol community. We appreciate the community’s enthusiasm and patience as we finalise preparations for what promises to be a landmark opening later this year.”
