Hard Rock Sacramento announces $1M donation

On October 30, 2024, the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe, owners of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, announced a new generous donation of $1 million to the Sutter Medical Foundation.

With this move, Hard Rock aims to help those who suffer from cancer together with their families. The $1 million donation will be issued to The Sutter Medical Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing high-quality healthcare services in Northern California within five years, with $200,000 annually.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento president Mark Birtha said:

“As we celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, we are most proud of the more than $3 million of charitable donations and in-kind gifts both the Tribe and the property have made to philanthropies throughout Northern California.”

The donation will also serve as a help for the opening of a new clinic in 2025.

Sutter Health’s Greater Sacramento Division president, Rachael McKinney, said:

“We are grateful to have philanthropic partners who recognize the possibilities to advance and expand our mission of exceptional care for residents.”

Hard Rock’s donations

Hard Rock has been actively donating huge amounts of money to different segments. Only in 2023, Hard Rock donated to almost 96 organizations. Recently, on October 14, Hard Rock announced a $1 million donation to Hurricane Milton and Helene relief efforts and supported World Central Kitchen’s and the Red Cross’s response from Florida to the Carolinas.
