AffPapa spoke with Daniel Shannon, the Head of Marketing & SEO at Casino Kings. Daniel discussed Casino Kings’ 10-year anniversary, as well as changes in the UK online casino market and notable achievements like winning Best Crypto Casino of the Year at AffPapa.

Yeva: To start off, we want to congratulate you with Casino Kings marking its 10 year anniversary on September 20th! In hindsight, are there any moments within the past decade you think were key for your success in the industry? 

Casino Kings is an old brand, but it’s new to us. We have taken ownership of the site in the last 8 weeks or so, but saying that, I do have over 12 years of experience in the iGaming market, both UK and Internationally. I have set up brands such as Dazzle Casino, Mobile Slots.com and many more! 

Yeva: How has the UK online casino market changed since Casino Kings’ launch in 2014? What are some of the biggest shifts you’ve seen?

Under the previous owners, Casino Kings performed fairly well in the UK market. However, we see unrecognised potential in the site. With the knowledge and experience held by myself and my team, we believe we’ll see huge growth in the visibility of the brand, and an expansion of the player base. We’re expecting record numbers, and we’re optimistic we’ll achieve them.

Yeva: With your role focusing on marketing and SEO, can you give some insights on how the SEO strategies have changed over the years? What are today’s most important SEO trends to keep a good online visibility? 

I would say there are certainly a lot more niche markets to be mindful of – you can shape your SEO strategy based on a niche, or broaden your horizons and take on all the competition. iGaming allows for multiple markets now, too, not just the UK – this opens SEO up to a whole new level. 

Yeva: How has CryptoBetSports utilized its emphasis on cryptocurrency to stand out from the other players in the market?

Online gamblers and casino players are massively concerned about their safety and privacy when they’re playing or betting. Featuring Cryptocurrencies allows us to build a secure platform that absolutely minimises the risks our players take in online gambling.

Yeva: One thing CryptoBetSports places a major focus on is providing an exciting and luxurious online experience to its players. When it comes to marketing and SEO efforts, how do you keep customer experience as your top priority?

Customer satisfaction is our most important priority. We use Smartico to set up multiple customer journeys to keep players engaged and active on the site. We also have a top-rated CRM team who are constantly in contact with our customers to ensure they are happy and to act on feedback when necessary. The second we notice a problem, we act.

Yeva: The approaching tenth anniversary makes it the perfect moment to celebrate. What special events, promotions or campaigns do you have planned at Casino Kings for your new and existing players to mark this milestone together? 

We are so excited about it! Casino Kings has a huge rebranding plan, which is going live on our anniversary. Alongside a new look, we’re launching some brand new welcome offers and promotions, as well as a new customer journey interface to streamline our customers’ betting experience. We’re also launching online Bingo in the next month or so to expand our game variety. On top of that, we’re entering the market with our brand-new affiliate program, Casino Kings Partners, to help drive new customers to the site.

Yeva: Ending on a more personal note, what was the most significant event or achievement in your experience with CryptoBetSports? How has it influenced your vision for the future of the brand?

Best Crypto Casino of the Year at Affpapa. Winning this award showcased the hard work we’ve put in over the last 12 months, and gave us a platform in the industry to show our affiliates that we might be new, but we are a team of experienced iGaming veterans who are here to make our mark.
