Kindred extends partnership with Rangers
Kindred will extend its partnership with Rangers and will further promote its Zero% mission responsible gambling message.
Kindred Group is an online gambling operator that consists of nine brands, including Unibet, Maria Casino, Vlad Cazino, and 32Red. Kindred keeps expanding its Zero% mission message, which aims to achieve zero percent of its revenue from harmful gambling.
According to the company, they track the progress of this mission on a quarterly basis and openly share the revenue results from high-risk players. Moreover, Kindred constantly shares reports of customers who successfully change their behavior in a positive direction after being detected by their responsible gambling prevention system.
Kindred’s ten years of partnership with Rangers
Kindred and Rangers have been partnering for a long time, and this extended agreement will mark the 10th year of the partnership between Kindred and Rangers.
Kindred’s Unibet brand logo will now appear next to the message on the front of the Scottish team’s jerseys, while its 32Red brand – also licensed in the UK – will be the club’s training and warm-up kit sponsor.
Kindred’s general manager in the UK, Sam Mead, said:
“We recognise that we are in the privileged position to support clubs and their communities – a responsibility we take very seriously. That’s why since we began working with Rangers, the basis of the partnership has always been to showcase the Rangers Charity Foundation’s wide-ranging work that is so important – including the men’s mental health initiative Team Talk. This fantastic work will continue over the course of our latest partnership.”
Karim Virani, chief commercial officer at Rangers, also commented:
“This partnership is the longest running of its kind in British football – and has helped the club enormously over what will be 15 years at the end of the deal we’ve announced today. Most importantly, we’d like to thank them for continuing their vital support of the club’s Foundation – especially through the Team Talk mental health initiative. The health and wellbeing of our local community is very important to ourselves and Kindred. We are all looking forward to the opportunity to continue driving forward new initiatives that will benefit both our supporters and the people of Glasgow.”
EPIC Risk Management, an international gambling harm prevention consultancy, will lead a Gambling and money management workshop available for all Rangers players.
The partnership will continue to fund the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Team Talk men’s mental health initiative.
