Kindred reports strongest fourth quarter

Leading online gaming operator Kindred Group reports its strongest fourth quarter ever. This has been caused by gross winnings revenue hitting an all-time high of nearly £365m. This is most probably due to an increase in the number of online gamblers participating in games all throughout 2020 since more time was being spent at home because of the lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the announcement from Kindred Group, it has seen an annual growth of 55%. In 2019, its fourth-quarter gross winnings revenue sat at £236.2m compared to the massive £365m witnessed in 2020.

The company has noted that this impressive growth comes as a result of continued strong activity across all products and markets. They also noted that the number of active customers increased by 11% on the same quarter last year.

Moreover, it was mentioned that the growth in gross winnings revenue was supported by the soaring sports betting margin. Kindred Group stated that this grew from 8.5% to 10% in the last quarter of 2020.

Kindred has been putting in all its effort on ameliorating efficiency across the company and reducing costs where they can. The fourth quarter is allowing the team to celebrate a wonderful end to the year, which will receive a warm welcome when looking at all that happened in 2020.

With such a powerful end of the year, 2021 is certainly seeming to be another successful one for this operator.
