KSA chairman targets unregulated sites: Gammix penalized
René Jansen, the chairman of the KSA, is targeting unregulated websites that cater to Dutch gamers without considering secure internet gaming procedures.
Gammix Limited received the greatest penalties ever from the Netherlands Gaming Authority of €19.6m for providing Dutch customers with internet gaming services with no permit.
The KSA’s statement of the punishment on Friday included a list of the websites the corporation operated. These websites included cashimashi, scatters, goslot, vegadream, nordslot, bluvegas, and rantcasino, all of which were available to Dutch players.
In an appeal against the KSA penalty, Gammix Limited has filed an application with the Dutch courts. The investigation will look at whether the regulator acted appropriately in fining the business and if the punishment was appropriate.
According to Jansen, this service’s age verification was not clear-cut. Consequently, suppliers will still face consequences if they continue to commit errors.
Gammix has already been punished for providing Dutch players with unlawful internet gambling on the nordslot casino and rantcasino, putting it in the sights of the KSA. The KSA penalized the company four euros in February of last year after ordering it to stop making any offers to Dutch footballers at the moment.
Gammix objected to the penalties and its decision to make the details of the exam public, but it later retracted those arguments. Earlier in the week, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced its Supervisory Agenda of this year, outlining its strategies for identifying areas of emphasis and accomplishing the regulatory aim of promoting safe betting in the marketplace.
Placing an obligation of care on certified operators, preventing addiction, opposing illicit web sites, assisting partners, carrying out investigations, and guaranteeing data supply conformity are some of the main goals. In addition, the KSA continues to place a high priority on adhering to advertising laws, particularly those that protect minors.
The release comes after the regulator looked into the operations of a number of betting affiliate websites that encouraged Dutch gamers to engage in illicit online gaming. Of the thirty-three sites, fourteen received warning notifications from the KSA once they discovered violations.
