LeoVegas notes increase in responsible gaming interactions in 2020

LeoVegas has revealed a remarkable increase in the number of responsible gaming interactions that it has directed throughout 2020. The Swedish gaming company published statistics showing that there was a 293% boost in responsible gaming interactions after 2019 up to 10,834.

Aside from that, LeoVegas also witnessed its total amount of self-exclusions go up to 275,991, as it saw 24,638 responsible gambling customer reviews, which are both a massive 185.1% and 55.9% boost respectively.

The mobile gaming firm wanted to reinforce its responsible gaming capabilities as it introduced the LeoLine gambling helpline back in 2019, which is a chat service for responsible gambling. The company claims that this may have been one of the reasons why it recorded such an increase in these interactions. Additionally, the amount of players who were setting new deposit limits decreased by 53% down to 418,450.

Moreover, this report revealed LeoVegas’s average revenue per customer, which was €65 every month. And even though this number had increased from the previous quarter, LeoVegas remarked that it had been going down in the long term.

LeoVegas claimed that this was mostly because of higher consumer protection and gaming turning into a mass market product. The company said that more than half of its revenue is derived from locally regulated markets, and this is expected to increase soon.
