Meridianbet joins UN’s Global Compact program
Meridianbet has recently joined UN’s Global Compact sustainability program.
The initiative gives its members a platform for the implementation and enhancement of various business responsibility practices. It has set out ten standardized principles and strategies in a multitude of areas that joined organizations have to follow to achieve certain sustainability milestones.
Having launched back in the year 2000, Global Compact is one of the world’s largest initiatives of its kind, as it has over 18 thousand members across more than 160 jurisdictions worldwide. By joining the program, Meridianbet is going to be leading the way for the gambling sector in enhancing sustainability and responsibility efforts.
The Chief Executive Officer of Meridan Gaming, Zoran Milosevic, commented:
“We are delighted to have this opportunity to become a Global Compact member, as it underlines our unwavering commitment to ethical practices and sustainable expansion. This news is a significant step in our mission of leading the industry in terms of responsibility and leaving a positive impact on the sector.”
This announcement follows shortly after the gambling operator published its ESG report for the previous year, which highlighted a number of Meridianbet’s achievements in the areas of corporate social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and others. Read more about it here.
