Michigan shuts down 10 illegal gambling sites

Michigan’s Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has ordered 10 illegal gambling sites to immediately stop their operations in the state.

The biggest concern is that illegal gambling sites make it difficult for players to withdraw their winnings. Many require users to bet their deposits multiple times before cashing out, putting gamblers at risk.

Despite offering common payment options like Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and cryptocurrency, these platforms operate outside Michigan’s legal framework. Run by Belize-based Apex Dynamics Ltd., these sites were offering casino-style games without a license.

The illegal platforms are:

  • Aladdin’s Gold Casino
  • All Star Slots
  • Buzz Luck
  • Club World Casinos
  • CryptoReels
  • High Noon
  • Lucky Red Casino
  • Manhattan Slots Casino
  • ReelSpin Casino
  • Slotter Casino

Investigators found that these sites were breaking multiple state laws, including the Lawful Internet Gaming Act and the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act.

MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams said:

“The Gaming Control Board’s relentless dedication to maintaining the integrity of Michigan’s gaming industry drives our efforts. We will continue to take strong action to shut down illegal operations that undermine trust in Michigan’s legal gaming system.”

When playing from Michigan, users must be attentive and check the online casino’s status in advance.
