New and updated regulations from Gambling Commission
The UK Gambling Commission has initiated new and updated regulations on the 1st of July.
These regulations require each of its licensees to submit its regulatory reports every trimester after the end of each quarter.
The Commission stated:
“As well as quarterly submissions for all licensees, we have introduced harmonized reporting periods which means all licensees submit data for the same time period, in the first instance for the period July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024.
The UKGC highlighted the importance of this move as more regular data, coupled with harmonized reporting periods will ensure the commission can analyze changes in the market on a timely basis and manage our income more effectively.
The Gambling Commission added:
It will also mean we can publish this information more frequently for those wanting to use our official statistics on the gambling market for their own work.”
These modifications call attention to the loyalty of the commission to capable control and unambiguousness in the betting economy, and so providing a good base for more secure and responsible procedures in the future.
