An Interim Two Kings Casino Grand Opening Took Place on Thursday
Kings Mountain’s newest establishment officially, but temporarily, opened this Thursday, creating long lines immediately.
Newly Opened Two Kings Casino to Bring Hope to the Catawba Natives
Opened earlier in July, the interim Two Kings Casino in Charlotte has already showed amazing results, as the Catawba Nation’s people say, and will bring even more opportunities for the nation.
According to the people of the Catawba Nation, the establishment has already marked an astonishing number of 40,000 visitors since then, and will further provide for the Natives of North Carolina.
The tribe’s Chief – Bill Harris, stated earlier in Spring:
“The opening of the interim Two Kings Casino sees a great opportunity for our people, and we cannot wait for the grand opening of the permanent establishment after this.”
As the constructions went, the establishment employed around 250 workers, around 30 of which were of Catawba origin.
The owners claim that they plan to multiply that number up to 10 times, as the casino brings employment opportunities for the nation.
The present Two Kings casino which incorporates around 500 slots is only a timely measure before a grand casino is built nearby, that will incorporate more than 1,000 slots and will have a more permanent nature.
The casino business is an important one for the Catawba Tribe, since the revenue from visitors provides for the people, and the Nation is quite hopeful about the future of it, after having successfully moved to their ancestral lands in North Carolina.
