Flutter Entertainment has revealed that Peter Jackson will step down from his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective September 30, 2026.

It’s also been announced that former CEO of Flutter’s UK and Ireland operations, Dan Taylor, will step into the role on October 1, 2026, with the latest senior management reshuffle coming just three months after Flutter-owned FanDuel CEO Amy Howe confirmed her sudden exit from the role.

The departure of Jackson is mostly tied to the challenging second quarter for Flutter. Initially, Jackson served around 5 years as a non-executive director on Betfair’s Paddy Power board, replacing Breon Corcoran, after which he became group CEO in January 2018.

Jackson shared:

“This is the right point in Flutter’s journey for me to hand over the leadership of the business to Dan. In my time as CEO, Flutter has changed beyond recognition, transitioning from a UK-focused Paddy Power Betfair into the world’s leading online sports betting and iGaming operator, with market-leading positions in the US and around the world. Having worked closely together for years, I am confident Dan and the leadership team will continue to build on Flutter’s success. I will help the transition during Q3 as we prepare for the important NFL season and hand over fully at the end of the quarter.”

Regarding Taylor, the new CEO will be responsible for the Flutter U.S. revitalization program and other cost-saving initiatives.
