Reflex Gaming sign new deal with Yggdrasil for Gigablox mechanic

Reflex Gaming, the YG Masters partner, has announced its latest deal with Yggdrasil to integrate its vastly popular proprietary mechanic Gigablox in all of its games in the future.

Yggdrasil’s mechanic has been used in multiple games in the past, such as Lucky Neko and Hades, and has proven to be quite successful. Reflex Gaming now has the ability to use this successful feature in its own games. The Gigablox mechanic allows for dynamic reels to spawn massive blocks up to 6×6 stacked. And aside from this possibly leading to enormous wins, this mechanic also allows for GigaBlox battles, which is in itself an innovative experience in gaming.

This offering by Yggdrasil is a part of its YG Masters programme. This programme allows for studios to develop and share gaming content by using its cutting-edge GATI technology, which is a preconfigured development toolkit that is designed to abide by the regulations. This technology provides studios and developers to utilize standardised technology to the development and distribution of their games across the globe.

Three of Yggdrasil’s mechanics, which are Gigablox, MultiMAX and Splitz, are now offered to partners to use in their content development process to help boost levels of player engagement, player acquisition, and retention. Reflex Gaming teamed up with YG Masters in June last year, and its first game, Moley Moolah, was launched via the programme back in November 2020.

Head of partner programmes at Yggdrasil Stuart McCarthy said in a remark on the agreement:

By offering our proven mechanics to our YG Masters partners they can launch new games knowing they will appeal to global players. YG Masters help our partners rapidly develop content for distribution to our vast operator network, while within our framework offering, studios can elevate their portfolios even further. Our partnership with Reflex Gaming is going from strength to strength, and we are excited to see the upcoming titles they will deliver with the Gigablox mechanic to further fuel their success.

CPO at Reflex Gaming Mat Ingram stated:

Through the YG Masters programme we have been able to streamline the development process, allowing us to focus on the game design and enabling us to launch exciting titles to a new audience. We have a full game launch schedule for 2021, with some epic releases coming. We are really impressed with what Yggdrasil have done on their games using these mechanics. Our game design team already have ideas on how to deploy these clever slot mechanics on our own upcoming games.
