Scientific Games acquires Authentic Gaming expanding its iGaming offering
Scientific Games has now acquired Authentic Gaming, following the acquisition of Lightning Box Games, a Sydney-based slots studio, in August.
This takeover marks a turning point in SG’s long-term strategic objective. Through this acquisition, SG intends to broaden its worldwide igaming goals and dominate the market by becoming a one-of-a-kind gaming firm. The company also informed about its move toward the live casino market.
Barry Cottle, SG’s CEO, expressed his delight about this acquisition, noting that it will help them achieve their goals mentioned above and expand their premium product line. He continued, saying:
“With our omnichannel strategy, we can profit on a growing US market potential owing to our successful table games titles, and our OpenGaming platform and Authentic’s combined power.”
Dylan Slaney, SG’s igaming CEO, was also looking forward to collaborating with Authentic’s experienced team to strengthen their igaming scheme for both operators and players. He added that they will be perfectly set to keep the players engaged and excited to achieve significant growth within live casinos. By implementing immersive experiences, players will be linked-up in both online and offline domains.
The capabilities of SG’s development team for generating live casino services will be expanded. According to SG, there are high objectives for Authentic Gaming. One of those objectives is to improve the service across the United States, which will create several studios to provide specialized content to the area’s operators.
