Sportradar ends Q1 2026 with €347M in revenue

Sportradar, the sports data service provider, has reported its Q1 2026 earnings, as the company saw an 11% rise and generated €347 million in revenue, but still fell short on the expected metrics.

The company’s adjusted EBITDA stood at €66 million, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 19%. Meanwhile, free cash flow was at €44 million.

The revenue of the Betting Technology & Solutions business increased to €288 million, representing a 15% rise, while the Betting & Gaming Content revenue was up by 20%, generating €232 million. Sports Content, Technology & Services revenue saw a drop of 4% to €59 million.

However, Sportradar’s Q1 ended in a €6 million loss, as opposed to the €24 million profit reached in Q1 2025.

The CEO of Sportradar, Carsten Koerl, commented:

“Sportradar’s first-quarter growth reflects our premier position as the scaled leader in the expanding global sports data ecosystem. Driving value for our partners and clients has always been our focus, and continuing to do so should build additional shareholder value in the months and years ahead. Our confidence in our trajectory is demonstrated by the increased buyback activity this past quarter as well as the enhanced open market share repurchase program announced today.”

Customer net retention came in at 108%, but the company suffered a €9 million loss in foreign exchange, compared to 2025’s €28 million profit,  because of movements in U.S. dollar-denominated sports rights.

Additionally, Sportradar has appointed Sameer Deen as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), who will take the position on May 18, 2026.
