Announced on October 28, 2026, the decision found the site was aimed at Sweden, offering Swedish as a language and SEK as a payment currency, with Swedish-language websites promoting it. The regulator found nothing stopping Swedish players from opening accounts. Immortal Snail is registered in Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and duel.com cites a license from Anjouan in the Comoros.
In its response, the company said Swedish is an international language, that Sweden would be IP-blocked, and that it could not control payments made in SEK. It also said it would keep offering Swedish on the site. A follow-up check on October 28 showed the block had not been put in place.
Spelinspektionen stated:
“The Swedish currency SEK and Swedish as a language still appear when logging in from a Swedish IP address.”
No conditional fine was attached to the ban. On the same day, the regulator also barred Lufilight Ltd, operator of ivibet.com, hellspin.com and slotsgem.com, and in September it acted against the operator of stakes.com. Spelinspektionen’s latest report puts Sweden’s channelization rate at 84% for 2025, with online casino at 81%.
