The Star Entertainment Group Ltd. announces regulatory approval for two key leadership positions.
Mr. Neale O’Connell has been appointed as the acting CFO of The star on March 22, 2024. This decision has been confirmed by the regulators While waiting for the appointment of the incoming executive, O’Connel will act as the Chief Financial Officer for short term (CFO). Evidently, he has a lot of experience with well-known casino operators where he gained good knowledge in gambling industry.
The Star’s Managing Director said:
“Neale’s deep expertise will be invaluable as we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. We are confident he will provide steady financial leadership during this transition period.”
The new group CEO and managing director of The Star is Steve McCann. Furthermore, authorization for Janelle Campbell’s appointment as the incoming Chief Executive Officer at The Star Sydney was given on 25th January 2024. While at other renowned casino resorts holding key leadership positions, Campbell moved to The Star Sydney, bringing in huge knowledge. Her new role will include being on The Star Sydney’s board as part of it.
