Gaming, gambling and betting has grown very powerful in today’s age, and has spread to be one of the biggest businesses worldwide. If you’re one a fanatic, you will know that Caesars Entertainment, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, owns about 55 Casino’s across the United States.

As many know, Las Vegas and Atlantic City, are the capitals of gambling, while others may recognize these places as one with bright lights and unique dancers. Another very exciting casino corporation, now owned by Twin River Holdings, is Bally’s. Its main branch based in Lincoln, Rhode Island, which is also of American origin, having about fourteen racetrack properties, and about 12 casinos in the country.

Some of the well known names in its midst are Hard Rock Hotel, Bally’s Atlantic City, and Dover Downs hotel. Many of its places have a rustic or traditional American vibe. Investors don’t seem to get enough of purchasing and selling properties, especially since there is so much competition in anything that involves money.
Tropicana Evansville, a hotel offering great rooms and gaming near the Ohio River in Indiana, previously owned by Caesar’s Corporation, has now been sold to Bally’s Entertainment and Gaming and Leisure Properties. All for the price of $480 million.

The plans for the hotel are still unknown, but await many positives for the future. George Papanier, president and CEO of Bally’s comments that

“There has been a great accomplishment achieved by the Bally’s family, being truly an exceptional year for all.”

This hotel already features amazing deals for Ohio locals or ones coming from outside, such as four dining rooms, several bars, with over 30 games, and 1,175 slot games. No wonder it was such a strongly desired property! Bally’s working with GLPI, (a real estate trust corporation), has first paid $140 million, leasing Bally’s to work slowly and rent the property.

Ohio having about eleven casinos in its territory, amongst some other favorite places are Hotel Casino Toledo and Columbus Casino Ohio. Everyone is ecstatic that Bally’s and GLPI is now gaining rapid control, having big advances in its field.

“Expanding geographically is also another plus that all will be gaining, as well as brighter editions for our services”,

mentions Peter Carlino, chairman and CEO of Gaming and Leisure Properties.
It’s hard to pick and choose where to go, but next time you’re in Ohio, maybe give a tour of the old city with new editions in its favor!
