James Boyles, the UAE Lottery’s Group Director for Responsible Gaming, shared that their team carefully watches player behavior and customer conversations. They use certain keywords to spot any signs of trouble. If something concerning takes place, a team of experts reviews the account to decide if a check-in, some advice, or access to support tools is needed.
Moreover, they will even offer mental health counseling for anyone who needs extra support. Boyles pointed out that not every flagged case leads to immediate action, but they always keep a close eye and adjust their approach based on what they learn along the way.
Earlier, the Game LLC teamed up with Takalam, an AI-powered mental health platform, to offer players direct access to professional counselors. It’s a big step toward making sure everyone has the tools they need to stay healthy and informed.
With fresh ideas and smart tech, the UAE Lottery hopes to spot and combat problems early, creating a safer gaming space for everyone.
