UAE to boost responsible gaming initatives through AI
Through a new partnership with Takalam, an AI-driven mental well-being platform, the UAE Lottery will strengthen responsible gaming efforts.
The main feature of this partnership is the dedicated mini-site, which offers educational content, videos, and access to free counseling sessions. Moreover, the initiative also guarantees confidential support to all those players and families who have faced gambling-related issues.
James Boyles, UAE Lottery group director for responsible gaming, said:
“We are proud to collaborate with Takalam to further our commitment to players’ well-being and responsible gaming.”
Khawla Hammad, Takalam founder and CEO, commented:
“Takalam is committed to providing tools that proactively address mental health issues to create a healthier environment where mental health support is destigmatized and accessible.”
UAE positions itself in the regulated gaming market
This collaboration comes with the UAE’s ambition to position itself as a regulated gaming leader. The UAE’s first national lottery launch in November and the development of Wynn Al Marjan Island, a luxury casino resort with a 25-square-foot gaming floor, reflect the country’s commitment to creating a responsible and thriving gaming industry.
By prioritizing player mental health, the UAE Lottery sets a regional benchmark for responsible gaming while advancing its vision of becoming a premier gaming and entertainment hub.
