Veikkaus publishes new AI guidelines
Veikkaus, the Finnish gambling operator, has published new guidelines regarding its use of artificial intelligence. The brand, which has a monopoly over the Finnish markets, has published these AI guidelines for transparency and to completely showcase just how it plans on using these tools in the future.
Currently, Veikkaus utilizes artificial intelligence to help out with multiple operations in their brand. These include their customer service chatbot, observing and identifying patterns of possible gambling abuse and problems, helping with the calculation of betting odds, as well as many others.
Veikkaus has now promised to ensure that all future usage of these tools is adaptable to their new AI guidelines, mainly concerning key issues such as privacy and customer protection. Using AI can point out questions regarding privacy, but the brand is determined to make sure that any data provided to the software is properly encrypted and stored. All applications with AI will be regularly monitored to ensure that they obey the established guidelines.
