William Hill takes Scottish safer gambling seriously
The new Scottish football deal will be taken seriously and will deliver a real impact to William Hill.
In June, it became the official title sponsor of Scotland’s four professional football leagues, which has just kicked off at the weekend.
The five-year agreement with the Scottish Professional Football League has also made the operator the SPFL’s new official betting partner.
William Hill has partnered with EPIC Global Solutions, which is an organization that offers courses and seminars aimed at preventing gambling-related issues, to introduce a gambling harm awareness program in Scottish football for players, employees and fans over several years.
Daryl West, William Hill’s Head of Media, Sponsorship, and Social wrote:
“Over the course of the next five years, we will be a proper supporter of Scottish Football. This means safer gambling is, and always will be, at the heart of William Hill and our sponsorship of the SPFL. We take our role seriously. Our program isn’t one that will be delivered off-the-cuff; it’s a program that is bespoke to Scottish football and designed to deliver real impact for all stakeholders. ”
This sponsorship ensures that sports betting was as it was intended: social, fun, and safe.
