The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly forced many events to go virtual, and that includes the annual SBC Awards. Many people within the industry look forward to this specific event, so instead of cancelling it completely, SBC hosted the event virtually this year.

The event occurred on the evening of the 9th of December and had over 800 guests tuning in virtually. Let’s take a look at how the event went for the different brands who were nominated for the Awards:

Bet365 caught everyone’s eye as they swept the award for Sportsbook of the Year and also won the award for Best Affiliate Program.

LeoVegas took home the title of Casino Operator of the Year, with Kaizen Gaming also winning Marketing Campaign of the Year.

The prizes for Leader of the Year within the Operators and Suppliers Awards went to Sergey Portnov, CEO of Parimatch and Aiste Garneviciene, CCO of BetGames.TV.

The highly sought-after and desired Sports Affiliate of the Year award was given to Better Collective, with Catena Media coming in a close runner up after receiving high praise.

Aspire Global led the way by taking home the award for White Label Supplier of the Year. Within the sportsbook category, Betradar won Sportsbook Supplier of the Year.

All the rest of the awards in this category were highly competitive but Scientific Games still managed to be crowned Platform Provider of the Year. eSports Supplier of the Year was given to Pinnacle Solution.

Square in the Air has been constantly improving this past year, creating effective campaigns within the industry, and was hence awarded Marketing Provider of the Year.

The Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation/Software Award was handed to Shape Games and the Rising Star in Casino Innovation/Software Award went to Syndot.

Betgenius managed to scoop up two whole awards: the one for Live Betting Product and that of Sports Data Product, making this an all-around splendid night for them.

Relax Gaming was the winner of Casino/Slots Developer of the Year, but Yggdrasil received a high commendation from the judges.
