BetMGM is excited to announce the appointment of Jarrod Schwarz as its first-ever Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Schwarz has been with the company for nearly five years as Chief Product Officer and will now oversee product, technology, trading, and customer operations.

Schwarz brings over 20 years of experience in digital products, having worked at global brands like Disney, eBay, and Bloomspot. At Disney, he helped launch ESPN+, the company’s first direct-to-consumer streaming service.

Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, released a statement:

“Jarrod has been an integral part of our incredible team, building BetMGM into one of the most recognisable and successful brands in sports betting and iGaming,” said Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM. He has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our business. I’m confident that this change will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional products and experiences to our players.”

BetMGM performance

When talking about performance results, BetMGM surpassed FanDuel in Kansas and, for the first time, became the state’s second most popular sportsbook. While FanDuel recorded $36.9 million in growth, BetMGM took the stage with $53.4 million in wagers. Financially, BetMGM raised its 2025 forecast after Q2 revenue jumped 36%.
