Betsson exits the US B2C Market
Betsson will mark September 30th as the end of its B2C business in the USA.
Betsson is an online gambling company, producing casino, poker, bingo, sports betting, and scratch card websites, through more than 20 online gaming brands. Being introduced in Colorado in 2022 and following a 10-year agreement with Dostal Alley Casino, Betsson chose not to expand Betsafe to other states and has not revealed the financial performance of its Colorado operations.
Betsson, like other companies, has been struggling to compete with FanDuel and DraftKings and decided to shut down Betsafe. From September 16, betting will be stopped, and players will have until September 27 to withdraw their funds.
This exit does not mean that the company will completely exit from the US market, it will continue its operations in Peru and Ontario where it was launched earlier this year.
