Curaçao Gaming Authority updates LOK compliance regulations
The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) published updated regulatory documents for the Landsverordening op de Kansspelen (LOK) compliance requirements on January 20, 2026.
The update comprised four documents: the Online Portal User’s Manual with incident and complaint reporting modules, the Domain Management for Licensed Operators manual, the Domain Management API Guidelines, and the Portal Roles and Access document outlining roles and access rights.
The new ‘Incident Reporting Module’ section explains the obligations of licensees, noting they must report incidents without delay and submit them through the online portal. The second new section, ‘Player Complaint Reporting’, requires B2C operators to periodically report customer complaints and provides a step-by-step guide for completing and submitting the filings.
The domain management guide gives information about registering, verifying, and activating domains for license holders, stating that B2C operators are obligated to register player-facing domains used for licensed gaming services.
CGA digital stamps are also explained in the document. They are color-coded, and each color indicates the conditions for use. For example, green means an active B2C license, blue is for an active B2B license, grey means either withdrawn or suspended, while black means a revoked license. Licensees are expected to update their relevant stamps by January 30, 2026.
