Detroit casinos report $107.4M revenue in October
In October 2025, Detroit’s three casinos brought in a total of US$107.4 million in revenue.
Around $105.9 million came from table games and slots, which is a 2.2% increase compared with October 2024, also 7.9% higher than September 2025. During the month, the casinos paid $8.6 million in state gaming taxes and $13.1 million to the City of Detroit in wagering taxes and development agreement contributions.
Of the total revenue, $1.5 million came from retail sports betting, with the casinos reporting a combined handle of $13.5 million. From this, they paid $58,266 in gaming taxes to the state and $71,215 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit.
Market share for October was led by MGM Grand Detroit at 49%, followed by MotorCity with 29% and Hollywood Casino at Greektown at 22%.
