DraftKings expands golf betting options with Dijon Systems
DraftKings will elevate its golf betting options with a new acquisition of Dijon Systems, a subsidiary of Mustard Systems.
Founded in 2012, DraftKings is an American gambling company offering sportsbooks and daily fantasy sports services. Golf betting has seen a rise in popularity among DraftKings’ users.
With the acquisition of Mustard Systems’ technology, DraftKings aims to expand its golf betting options. Mustard Systems, founded in 2014 and based in Hammersmith, London, is known for its advanced golf pricing models. These models are famous with licensed operators and professional gamblers. DraftKings will not only integrate Mustard Golf’s technologies but also its experienced team of leaders.
Greg Karamitis, DraftKings Chief Revenue Officer, commented:
“Golf betting continues to gain traction amongst our players. Adding Mustard Systems’ golf technology and its talented team will sharpen our edge in creating an expansive and dynamic golf product offering.”
This new deal follows DraftKings’ acquisition of Simplebet, which was to boost its wagering options together with AI games through machine learning models.
DraftKings expects to have a significant increase in its profit rates by 2027, changing the $167 million profits reported last year to $2.5 billion. Both Simplebet’s and Mustard’s acquisitions are here to promote the expectations. Moreover, they are part of DraftKings parent company, Flutter Entertainment’s long-term growth strategy.
