Entain finalizes Angstrom Sports acquisition
Entain has recently completed the purchase of Angstrom Sports.
Initially announced in mid-July, the now-completed acquisition has given Entain access to Angstrom Sports’ wagering data solutions, enabling the operator to enhance its wagering offerings in a variety of worldwide markets. The data firm predominantly specializes in betting data for the United States, which will help its new parent firm expand in the rapidly growing market.
Additionally, this acquisition will help Entain become one of the United States wagering sector’s only operators offering data analytics, forecasting, pricing, and risk calculations through first-party systems. This will further help the firm solidify its presence in the country’s growing gambling industry.
The purchase involved an initial payment of 81 million pounds and can total up to 203 million pounds. The remaining up to 122 million pounds will be due over the course of the next three years.
